According to medical dictionaries, borborygmus is a "rumbling in the guts." But do a search on Google, and you'll find that Borborygmus is also the creator of a series of funny and whimsical puzzles from Down Under. His logic grid puzzles appear every Saturday in the Weekend Press of Christchurch, New Zealand, and so his free website is updated weekly with a new challenge.
His puzzles focus on the denizens of Ollyooze, particularly a married couple known as Schnozz and Towser. They eat such exotic foods as marmite, ostrich and kiwifruit, and have to deal with such problems as where to watch the Thugby World Cup. The puzzles are graded by difficulty, so you know what you are getting into before you start.
The site itself is very basic. There are the puzzles, and there is a guestbook, and that's about it. But with fun puzzles dating all the way back to June 2002, that's really all you need.
