Dr. Pullem had a highly successful dental practice until someone riddled his body with bullets this evening. The list of suspects has been narrowed to the four patients who had appointments with the good doctor earlier in the afternoon. The following facts have been determined; can you find the killer?
  1. All of Dr. Pullem's patients who aren't afraid of drills and have gingivitis also have bad breath.
  2. All of Dr. Pullem's patients who have crooked teeth and are afraid of drills have at least one cavity.
  3. All of Dr. Pullem's patients who don't have bad breath but do have at least one cavity have straight teeth.
  4. All of Dr. Pullem's patients who are afraid of drills and have straight teeth do not have gingivitis.
  5. All of Dr. Pullem's patients who don't have cavities but do have bad breath also have gingivitis.
  6. All of Dr. Pullem's patients who have straight teeth and don't have gingivitis also don't have any cavities.
Dr. Pullem's nurse was on duty at the time. She didn't notice the killer enter the office; she says was filing some paperwork when suddenly someone turned off the lights. Then she heard gunshots and someone, presumably the killer, rushed past her. Since it was dark, she couldn't identify anything about the killer except that he or she had terrible breath.

The following patients had afternoon appointments. Which one of them came back in the evening and capped the dentist?

Alan, who has no cavities and does not have gingivitis
Barbara, who has straight teeth and is afraid of drills
Charles, who has crooked teeth and gingivitis
Denise, who is afraid of drills and has no cavities
