You are on a mission to get critical supplies for your tribe, so you find yourself rummaging through a forgotten storage closet in an old, burnt-out drugstore. There are two items on your list; the first is Xinbex, which cures radiation sickness. Xinbex comes in perfectly cylindrical bottles.

  • Bottle A has a diameter of 5 inches and a height of 10 inches.
  • Bottle B has a diameter of 10 inches and a height of 5 inches.
  • Bottle C has a diameter of 6 inches and a height of 9 inches.
  • Bottle D has a diameter of 9 inches and a height of 6 inches.
Each bottle has the same thickness and is filled to the top. Which bottle contains the most Xinbex?

Bottle D

The other necessary item is Zom-B-Gon, a zombie repellent. Zom-B-Gon comes in perfectly regular pyramids with square bases.

  • The length of one side of the base of Pyramid A is 25 centimeters times the square root of 2.
  • The length of one side of the base of Pyramid B is 39 centimeters times the square root of 2.
  • The length of one side of the base of Pyramid C is 52 centimeters times the square root of 2.
  • The length of one side of the base of Pyramid D is 60 centimeters times the square root of 2.
Each pyramid has the same thickness and the same length from one corner of the base to the apex (65 centimeters), and is filled to the top. Which pyramid contains the most Zom-B-Gon?
